James Prochaska

Professor of Clinical and Health Psychology

Research areas: behavior change, health promotion

Internationally recognized for his stage model of behavior change, he directs the Cancer Prevention Reseach Center and is author of more than 300 publications. Dr. Prochaska is the principal investigator on more than $60 million dollars in research grants for the prevention of cancer and other chronic disease.
