Assistant Professor of Human Development and Family Studies

Research areas: family and community health, pediatric psychology, health disparities, counseling strategies, families and stress

Adams has researched the impact of technology use on the sleeping habits of college students and the correlating impact on academic performance. She also utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach to treat children with anxiety, sleep disorders and promote childhood asthma management.
