URI Theatre stages Sondheim comedy, Company

The University of Rhode Island Department of Theatre will present Stephen Sondheimís musical comedy Company.

The show will be staged Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 and Dec. 6 to 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec 2 and Dec. 9 at 3 p.m., J Studio in the URI Fine Arts Center on the Kingston Campus. General admission is $20, $15 for seniors, URI faculty/staff, and $12 for students. Tickets can be purchased by calling 401.874.5843 beginning Nov 12 or online at

Set firmly in, and often about, New York, Company's plot revolves around Robert, a single man with no emotional commitments who reassesses his life on his 35th birthday by reviewing his relationships with his married acquaintances and his girlfriends...
