Notice: Lot #1, Briar Lane parking restrictions

Due to the very large number of prospective students and their families who will be visiting our campus this month, the parking lot behind the Visitor Center will be closed to URI faculty, staff and students until 2 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, April 9, 13, 16, and 20.

We are asking those who regularly park in this lot to please use the Fine Arts Center or other staff lots on these days.

However, if you are expecting a guest on one of these days, please register your guest by email with the Visitor Center at least 24 hours in advance. Send an email to vlafreniere@mail.uri.edu with your guest's First and Last Name, Campus Destination, and Your Name and Contact Information. Once they arrive on Campus, they are to stop at the Visitors Center where they will receive a pass and parking recommendation closest to the destination.
