The Public Safety Advisory Committee is charged with advising and providing recommendations to the Department of Public Safety, including the URI Police Department, Transportation and Parking, Emergency Management, and other units, as well as University leadership regarding the department’s programming and operational activities.

In preparation for its first meeting on April 22, the Public Safety Advisory Committee is seeking community feedback on areas of concern regarding campus safety and security as well as input regarding the operations of any other areas under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Safety.
