URI to Host Super CPR Saturday Feb. 10
KINGSTON, R.I. -- January 26, 2001 -- Give the gift of life and learn
cardiopulmonary resuscitation. On Saturday, Feb. 10, the University of
Rhode Island will hold its fourth annual Super CPR Saturday in Mackal Field
House.
It's all part of the University's participation in the American Heart
Association's Heart Month.
Adult and infant CPR training, an adult CPR refresher (those participating
must present card) and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Orientation
will be offered to the first 100 to register. Participants will receive
HeartSaver (Adult CPR or Pediatric CPR) training by professional volunteers
for free.
Schedule of Events
9 a.m. Adult CPR
Noon Adult CPR refresher and Infant CPR
1 p.m. AED training (must have adult CPR training to participate)

in training efforts and education to save lives," said Ted Boyett,
URI's coordinator of aquatics.
