URI invites you to its College of Business Administration
Hall of Fame Induction, Banquet April 25
KINGSTON, R.I. -- March 18, 2002 -- University of Rhode Island President Robert L. Carothers and Edward M. Mazze, dean of URIs College of Business Administration, are inviting the public to the Fourth Annual College of Business Administration Hall of Fame Induction and Banquet Thursday, April 25.
To be held at the Crowne Plaza at the Crossings, Warwick, the evening starts with a reception from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., with dinner and induction ceremonies immediately following. Tickets are $50 per person. Those interested in attending must respond by Friday, April 12 by calling Kelly Glista at 401-874-4348. This years inductees are:
Pete Bassi, URI alumnus, B.A. 1970, MBA 1973
President of Tricon Restaurants International, a subsidiary of Tricon Global, the umbrella organization for Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell, and URI CEO Leadership speaker. He is a resident of Dallas, Texas.
Michael Fascitelli, URI alumnus, B.S. 1978
President of Vornado Realty Trust, former partner of Goldman, Sachs & Co., and member of the College of Business Administrations Advisory Council. He is a resident of New York City.
Frank Feraco, URI alumnus, B.A. 1969
President and CEO of Pentair Tools Group, former president of Textrons Industrial Products Segment, member of the Colleges Advisory Council, and URI CEO Leadership Forum speaker. He is a resident of Lake Forest, Ill.
Chairman and CEO of Hasbro, Inc., supporter of the University of Rhode Island and renowned for his civic, professional and charitable contributions. He is a resident of Bristol, R.I.
Peter Kirn, URI alumnus, B.S. 1975, MBA 1977
Senior Partner of Accenture, Inc., member of the College of Business Administrations Advisory Council. He is a resident of Short Hills, N.J.
Anthony J. Rose, Jr., URI Honorary Doctorate,1991
President and Chief Executive Officer of Technical Industries, Inc., renowned for his civic, professional and charitable contributions and support of the University of Rhode Island. He is a resident of Wakefield, R.I.
