URI Providence Campus scholarships are now available

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- March 4, 2005 -- The University of Rhode Island's Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Continuing Education announces that scholarships are now available for summertime studies.

The scholarships, funded by a generous gift to the college by The Feinstein Foundation, will cover the tuition for courses taken at the College, located on URI's Providence Campus, during the summer sessions. Any adult matriculating student, whether new or returning, is eligible to apply. The application deadline is April 20. Summer classes will be held May 23-June 24; and June 27 to July 29.

Scholarship applications are available by calling 277-5000, online at www.uri.edu/prov/scholarships, or by visiting the College's Student Services Office in Room 125 of the URI Providence Campus at 80 Washington St. General information about summer sessions at URI can be found at www.uri.edu/summer.
