KINGSTON - Come join the excitement, Saturday, September 16
at 8 p.m. of the opening of the 25th Anniversary season of the URI Great Performances Series celebrating Rhode Islandís contribution to the arts with seven Rhode Island Artists.
Rhode Island has one of the highest per capita rates of performing and visual artists in the country and these artists encompass a broad spectrum of genre. During this anniversary year when Great Performances will be focused on American Artists it seemed fitting to open the season with a unique event with something for everyone.
