Nursing Alumni Association of URI to hold lecture on ‘The Use of Color and Light in Healing’

KINGSTON, R.I. — January 12, 1999 — The Nursing Alumni Association of the University of Rhode Island will sponsor a lecture by one of the University’s graduates on “The Use of Color and Light in Healing” on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. in the Galanti Lounge of the University Library. Barbara Cunha, a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, will give the talk. She owns Flying Colors in Assonet, Mass. Cunha creates stained class windows for churches, doctor’s offices, counseling offices and other healing environments. Admission is $5 for members of the Nursing Alumni Association and $10 for non-members. Students will be admitted for free with an identification card.
