Dianne Caracuzzo Kinsey, Ed.D., R.N.

Dr. Kinsey is a psychiatric mental health educator and practitioner and joined the faculty in January, 2007. Her former positions include 27 years of teaching in the undergraduate program at Cedar Crest College, a women's Liberal Arts college in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Her doctoral study on nursing leadership won the Lloyd W. Ashby Award for outstanding dissertation in the College of Education at Lehigh University. In the same year, she was awarded the Outstanding Academic Woman of the year presented by the Lehigh Valley Association of Academic Women. She left Cedar Crest in 2005 as a tenured Full Professor with emeritus status.

In 2006, Dr. Kinsey relocated to Rhode Island. She assumed adjunct faculty status at Salve Regina University where she taught psychiatric nursing and participated in the RN to BS nursing program. Dr. Kinsey's publications reflect her interest in international nursing, mentorship and nursing education. More recently, her interests are in gerontology and thanatology.
