Karin E. Conopask, B.S. M.S.

Ms. Conopask received a Master of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design, with a concentration in Historic Textiles and Textile Conservation, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutritional Science from the same university.

Prior to joining the URI community, Ms. Conopask worked for almost 10 years at Slater Mill Historic Site as the Curator and Development Director. Most recently she served as the Executive Director of the Courthouse Center for the Arts in West Kingston, RI. She raised money at Slater Mill and the Courthouse Center for the Arts for exhibits, special projects, and capital improvements, as well as directing the annual fund. She has extensive experience in grant writing, and has received and administered a variety of grant funded projects.

Ms. Conopask is a member of the Association of Fund Raising Professionals Rhode Island and National Chapters.
