Professor Carr received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. She has worked throughout the state of Rhode Island as a medical-surgical nurse and an emergency care nurse. She obtained a Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island in 2002, with a focus in Nursing Education. Professor Carr has been working as a per course undergraduate faculty member until recently being appointed full-time.

Professor Carr teaches clinical for the junior and senior Medical-Surgical Nursing in the undergraduate nursing program.

Community Partnerships

Community partnerships are agencies that serve as clinical sites for student learning.
