Nursing grad students learning to have hard conversations

How do you discuss the bad news? How do you focus on the next steps in the end-of-life plan? None of these things can be learned in a classroom. They have to be experienced.            
NP students are getting the chance to prepare for those difficult conversations thanks to classes in end-of-life care. It’s just one way graduate students can utilize facilities like the advanced simulation labs at the Nursing Education Center in Providence.
