Nursing Ambassadors

The Nursing Ambassador Program was started in 2004 to promote student involvement in the various recruitment and professional activities that the College participates in, both on and off campus, throughout the academic year. Students in their junior and/or senior year have an opportunity to share their experiences as a College of Nursing Student with a diverse audience including high school students, family members, alumni and the state legislators.

Students may elect to earn credit for these activities, or may volunteer their time during the semester. Students who engage in this program not only develop self-confidence in their abilities, but also strengthen their commitment to professional development. The Nursing Ambassadors work collaboratively with faculty and administration to promote the goals of the undergraduate curriculum and welcome individuals to the University.
