Disability Accommodations
"Disability Services for Students works with students and all units of URI to foster an inclusive, welcoming, and accessible environment. We work with you, our students, to support academic success and self-advocacy.”
The DSS (Disability Services for Students) Office provides academic accommodations to all students, including those taking online classes.
To receive accommodations, students must be registered with Disability Services. The procedure for registering is the same for both online and on-campus students.

While it is preferred that students meet in person with a DSS counselor in person, arrangements can be made to conduct the appointments over the phone or through another method. PDF versions of Letters can be sent to the student so they can have a virtual appointment to discuss accommodations with their faculty.
