Register
We are offering seven two-day First-Year Orientation sessions and two Transfer Orientation sessions from which new students and families may choose.
You may register for Orientation by mail only. Once you have paid your enrollment deposit to the University, stating your intention to attend, we will send you an Orientation packet. These mailings will begin approximately April 1, 2009.
Students are asked to complete the registration page, including a list of their top four choices of dates. Family Orientation registration is also included in the packet. Please include information about family members attending the program with your registration.
Once we receive this information we will send you a confirmation card with your assigned date.
Steps to register for Orientation:
- Pay your enrollment deposit stating that you are officially enrolling in URI.
- An Orientation packet will be mailed to you within two weeks beginning April 1, 2009.
- Complete registration form with top 4 session choices and mail to the Office of New Student Programs. Include Family Orientation and/or early arrival information as necessary.
- All requests will be processed in the order received.
- A confirmation card with your assigned date will be mailed to you within two weeks of our receiving your request.
