Welcome to Spring Advising Day!

Congratulations on your decision to attend URI!

When and how can I register for classes?

New Transfer students (24+ transferable credits) are eligible to register for classes beginning November 26. There are 2 options for advising & class registration:

1.  Use the contact grid (at the bottom of this page) to contact your academic advisor and schedule a meeting at mutual convenience.

2.  Attend Spring Advising Day on January 22nd. To register for Spring Advising Day, please click "Register Now" on the right column of this page.

Before attempting to be advised and register for classes, be sure that you have established an eCampus account.  Visit www.uri.edu/ecampus and click on First Time Users Register Here.  Contact the URI HELP Desk if you have any trouble -- 401-874-HELP(4357).  When meeting with your advisor, plan to bring a copy of your transcript.

New Freshman students (Less than 24 transferable credits) should wait to register for classes until Spring Advising Day, which is when you will meet with an academic advisor.

What is Spring Advising Day?

Spring Advising Day is a half-day advising program for incoming freshmen and transfer students who have not yet met with an academic advisor and registered for classes.

What are the Spring Advising Day details?

Spring Advising Day will be held on January 22, 2013. Arrival & check-in is at 8:30am in the Great Room of Roosevelt Hall. Plan to be with the program until approximately 12noon. 

Do I have to pay?

No. There is no fee for Spring Advising Day.

Do I have to register?

Yes. Click on "Register Now" on the right sidebar.

Where can I find directions to Kingston?

Where do I park?

You may park in the Visitor’s Lot off Upper College Road. See the campus map for directions: http://www.uri.edu/home/visitors/Map/KingstonCampus.pdf

NOTE:  If you will have a car on campus as either a resident or commuter student, please secure a parking pass at www.uri.edu/parking

Where can I find out about Housing options?

URI has 3 offices on campus to assist students with securing housing:

How do I get involved on campus?

Will my classes/credits transfer?

The Transfer Resource Center is your best resource as it relates to transfer credit.  http://www.uri.edu/transfer .

Should I sign up for classes now?
