the Rhode Island Medical Society to
sponosr intrastate continuing education
for physicians. Roger Williams Medical
Center designates this educational
activity for a maximum of 6.0 AMA
PRA Category 1 Credits.
Physicians should only claim credit
commensurate with the extent of their
participation in the activity.

Term Care Administration: This educational offering has been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Boards of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators (NAB) and approved for 6 clock hours and 6 participant hours. Participants
must attend the entire workshop as
scheduled in order to receive CE credit
for the following disciplines.
Participants who intend to fulfill the
requirements for the Certificate of
Interdisciplinary Practice in Geriatrics
(CIPG) must attend the ENTIRE
workshop, regardless of need for CE credit.
Nursing: This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Rhode Island State Nurses Association,
an accredited approver of continuing nursing education by the
American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Approved: 6.0 contact hours
Pharmacy:

Pharmacy Education as a provider
of continuing pharmacy education.
This is a knowledge type of activity. Attendance and completion of
evaluation forms and
self-assessment tools at the
conclusion of the program are
required for issuance of a
statement of credit. Participants
will receive 6 Contact
Hours/0.6 CEUs for
successfully completing this
program. Statements will be
mailed within six weeks of

note: In order to offer continuing
education (CE) and continuing medical
education (CME) contact hours, RIGEC must
adhere to the policies and procedures of
the accrediting/approving agencies. This
includes verifying attendance for the
approved hours of instruction. Participants
are required to sign in and out. If you
arrive more than 15 minutes after the
scheduled start time or leave before the
scheduled conclusion, you will not
receive CE credits, except as noted above
by discipline.
**If
you are working toward a Certificate in
Interdisciplinary Practice in Geriatrics
(CIPG), all-day attendance is required.
RIGEC will allow a one (1) hour grace
period for the entire workshop
series.
