National Academy on an Aging Society - NAAS is a Washington-based non-partisan, non-profit institute that promotes critical thinking about the implications of an aging society and conducts and synthesizes research on a broad range of topics related to income and health security. One of their latest projects is a series of 12 profiles entitled "Challenges of the 21st Century: Chronic and Disabling Conditions," which is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. National Institute on Aging - NIA is one of the National Institutes of Health, the principal biomedical research agency of the U.S. Government. Among the information available on the web site is a list of NIA produced educational materials on topics related to aging & health.
