Administration on Aging - This is a link to a AOA's home page where you will find news releases, program announcements, Medicare updates, etc. related to health and aging. There is a sub-section with information targeted for Elders and Families. Source: AOA

Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) - formerly the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) - The web site contains information on quality measurement, research findings, health data, funding sources, clinical information and more.

Bureau of Health Professions (BHPr) - The site offers an overview of the Health Resources and Services Administration Health Professions geriatrics and allied health programs.

Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC) - BPHC, part of the Health Resources and Services Administration, focuses on health care for the underserved and eliminating health disparities. A section for clinicians includes information and links to best practice guidelines, patient education, training opportunities, HIV/AIDS clinical protocols, etc. Source:BPHC

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - This is a link to CDC's web page on healthy aging. The CDC site in general contains a wealth of information, including health data and statistics, prevention guidelines, funding sources, press releases and health news.

Federal Interagency Forum on Aging Related Statistics - This is a link to their recently published report, "Older Americans Update 2010: Key Indicators of Well-Being." The report is divided into five topic areas: population, economics, health status, health risks and behaviors, and health care. Information is available for ordering hard copies and downloading PDF files.

Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) - This is a link to HRSA's home page.

National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute - NHLBI is part of the National Institutes of Health. This site contains information on scientific resources, news releases, clinical guidelines, studies seeking patients, and advances in clinical technlogies. Source: NHLBI

National Institutes of Health - contains news; a calendar of NIH events; links to health information and resources, such as consumer health publications, clinical trials, a health hotline, MEDLINE, scientific resources and the NIH Information Index (a subject-word guide to diseases and conditions that NIH is investigating).
