Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) - This site contains a variety of drug-related information, including information on clinical trials, over-the-counter medications, and regulatory guidance. CDER is an agency of the Food and Drug Administration. Source: CDER

Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy - a national voluntary organization that supports and promotes certification in geriatric pharmacy. Source: CCGP

Institute for Safe Medication Practices - ISMP is a nonprofit healthcare agnecy comprised of pharmacists, nurses, and physicians. This web site offers a wide variety of free educational materials, such as medication safety alerts, and services geared toward health professionals. Source: ISMP - This is a link to a drug database developed by Medscape in partnership with the National Drug Data File from First DataBank and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. It offers information on drug-drug and drug-food interactions, uses, dosage, advese reactions, etc. Source: - Access to much of the information is free, however, viewers are asked to register.

URI College of Pharmacy Drug Information Service - The Drug Information Service provides healthcare practitioners with timely, evidence-based drug information to promote the safe, rational use of medications. Source: URI

URI College of Pharmacy e-Health - a web portal that identifes high quality consumer health information on the Internet. The portal was developed by the URI College of Pharmacy with a grant from the Natioanl Library of Medicine. Over 400 have been reviewed and are listed in the portal. - This site offers information on drug interactions involving grapefruit with prescription drugs.
