Registration and Cancellation Policies for CIPG Workshops

In an effort to “go green” and streamline the registration process, we’ve changed our CIPG workshop registration options to encourage paperless registration.

Payment

The new registration fee is $140, but you can save up to $30 on your registration fee with our new "10/10/10" option. Here’s how it works: register online and receive a $10 discount; register by the “Early Bird” deadline (online, mail, or phone) and receive a $10 discount; register as a group with three or more of your coworkers, and receive a $10 per person discount. You can save $10 just by registering online!

Registrations for CIPG workshops must be accompanied by full payment. Please make checks, money orders, or institutional purchase orders payable to the URI Conference & Special Program (CSPD). Credit card payment (Master Card and Visa) will be accepted by the URI Conference Office and through online registration. Registrations are accepted on a space available basis. Early Bird registration and regular registration charges are dependent on stated deadlines. Consult the program brochure for specific dates.

Note: Workshop 4 on 4/1/2013 has a special program fee and cancellation policy, as stated on the workshop brochure.

Group Discount

Three or more employees from the same agency who register for the same workshop will receive a $15 per person discount on the registration fee. Discounts must be applied at the time of registration. Registrations and payment must be accompanied by a cover letter from your agency indicating the names of participants.

Note: Group discounts apply only as noted for specific programs. *Discounts do not apply to all programs.*

Student Fee

Full-time and/or matriculated students may attend programs at the student rate, as noted for specific programs. Other discounts do not apply. Valid student ID card must be shown at the door.

No other discounts apply.

Roger Williams Medical Center: Physicians from RWMC will receive a 25% discount on the regular registration fee. No other discounts apply.

Special Needs

For sign language interpretation, personal FM systems, disability assistance, or special dietary needs, please contact Judith Sweeney at (401) 874-5311. Ten business days' advance notice prior to the workshop is required. For RI Relay services for deaf/hard of hearing, dial 711.

Cancellation

Credit for a future RIGEC program will be granted, less a $50* administrative fee, for cancellations received in writing up to seven (7) working days prior to a particular program. Registrants who are unable to attend a program may transfer their registration for the same program to a colleague without penalty.

Registrants need not participate in the certificate program in order to attend any RIGEC workshops or seminars.

Continuing Education (CE credits)/Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits (as noted), refreshments, lunch, and parking/handicapped parking are provided.

* RIGEC reserves the right to change registration and administrative fees as necessary to account for cost increases at conference venues, etc.

Credit Card Payments

Credit cards payments will appear as a charge for a "rigec workshop." If you have any questions regarding the workshop charge, call the URI CSPD at (401) 874-2170.
