Vehicle Change Procedure

STUDENTS:

It is the responsibility of the registered student to update their vehicle information anytime there are changes to their account (ex - plate change, vehicle change, address change, etc.) even if only on a temporary basis (ex - your original vehicle is in the shop and you have a loaner, etc.).


The process is as follows:

  • Remove the current decal from the vehicle you will not be using (the decals are made to be removed for such cases. If the adhesive on the decal seems soiled, you can rinse in warm soapy water to clean)
  • Properly display the decal on the new vehicle you intend on using.
  • Go into your account online at thepermitstore.com.
  • Update your vehicle information to reflect the new vehicle.

Please stop into our office at 44 Lower College Road, or call 401-874-9281 to update vehicle information or to add another vehicle. One parking hangtag is registered to you and it may be transferred between vehicles. We do not issue multiple hangtags for multiple vehicles.
