Research Interests:

Modeling protein structural motifs via solid-phase synthesis (SPS) of small proteins, peptides and peptidomimetics. Design and synthesis of novel therapeutic agents using natural scaffolds such as peptides and DNA. Development of combinatorial libraries for the generation and screening of novel antibiotics and anti-tumor agents. Investigation of topoisomerase inhibition mechanisms and mechanisms of action of peptide antibiotics.  Analysis of the biophysical properties of peptides and proteins by capillary electrophoresis (CE).
