    melon
bittersweet

midnight blue

carnation pink
    burnt sienna

I drew on the tables and on the walls and on the toilet seat
on the piano, on the dog, and the house across the street
my parents never ever lost me in the grocery store
they just had to follow the colored trail of my crayola sixty four

in junior high most boys my age took playboys to the john
but I just my coloring book and my purple crayon
on the SAT's I answered them all in blue
but later I found out I failed cause it wasn't number two
