a
happily married father of twin sons. I came to the GSLIS program here
at URI after a career in marketing and nonprofit fundraising. My goals
are to become a reference librarian and then transition into
library administration.

Awards and Recognition
• PRISM Plus Fellowship awarded by University of Rhode Island and Institute of Museum and Library Services (2006-2008). PRISM prepares future librarians to work with diverse populations and
provide culturally sensitive information literacy instruction that
empowers individuals to access and use information effectively.
Students awarded the fellowship receive full scholarships in the URI GSLIS
program and earn a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science.
