The College of Pharmacy is committed to serving the local, national and global community through the efforts of its faculty, staff and students. Included within the scope of these efforts at four service groups that have been established within the college to serve the needs of a range of populations including healthcare professionals, Rhode Island law enforcement agencies and the general public.

CE

Office of Continuing Education

This office offers Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited, educational programs to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals covering a wide range of clinical, regulatory, GMP, administrative and general pharmacy topics.

Drug Information Service

This office provide healthcare practitioners with timely, evidence-based drug information to promote the safe, rational use of medications.

HUMC

Healthcare Utilization Management Center

The HUMC provides consultant pharmacy benefit management services to a variety of clients in the healthcare marketplace.

Outreach

Pharmacy Outreach Program

This program is committed to providing the Rhode Island community with the latest, most complete information regarding medications.

Rhode Island State Crime Lab

The Rhode Island State Crime Laboratory (RISCL) offers a range of scientific services for all appropriate agencies investigating evidence related to federal, state or local crimes.
