Clinical pharmacy practice includes
inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services at Cambridge Health
Alliance, a health system in the Cambridge, MA area with 3 hospitals and
many outpatient clinics. The clinical pharmacy role at CHA includes
participation in medical team rounds, providing psychopharmacology
consults, drug use evaluations, formulary management and research
relating to psychopharmacology. Experiential clerkship responsibilities
include precepting PharmD Students on inpatient psychiatric units. Main
area of didactic teaching is psychopharmacology and medication safety
for pharmacy students, and medical and psychiatry residents. Previous
experience includes research, clinical psychopharmacology services and
hospital management.
