Interactive videos are useful for visualization processes in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.

2-Compartment Model

This video shows the relative distribution of a drug between the central and peripheral compartments from the time the dose is injected up to the time the dose is eliminated from the body. It also shows how the drug’s volume of distribution changes over the same period.

Hysteresis

This video shows the time course of the plasma concentration and drug concentration at the site of action after an oral dose. It also shows how response is related to the plasma concentration (hysteresis curve) the concentration at the site of action.
