Dear
Citizens of the State of Rhode Island, Friends, Colleagues and
Students,
Tuesday,
November 7th 2006 was truly a most historic day for
the entire Rhode Island pharmacy community and especially our
College. It was the day when the voters in Rhode Island
overwhelmingly reaffirmed their long-standing support for
pharmacy and the critically vital role that the profession plays
in healthcare delivery, research, outreach, and economic
development. For their support we are deeply grateful.
All of us
in the college share in the joy of knowing that future
generations of our pharmacy students will be educated in a
facility that is in keeping with the ever-changing needs and
complexity of a highly demanding health-profession's program and
that we will be able to more fully realize our talents as highly
respected staff, educators, researchers, and patient care
providers.
