Doctor of Pharmacy

The 6-year curriculum stresses critical thinking, active learning and clinical experience to prepare the students for practice in a variety of professional settings.

Bachelors Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences

This program prepares students for careers in the pharmaceutical, consumer products, and healthcare industries. Graduates of the BSPS program will be qualified to seek a diverse range of career options that include: research and development, manufacturing, product marketing, and administrative positions within the pharmaceutical industry, as well as careers in research and regulatory oversight within government agencies.

Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Program

The college offers M.S. and Ph.D. level degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences with specializations in: Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmacology and Toxicology.

Doctor of Pharmacy / Master of Business Administration

The University of Rhode Island Colleges of Pharmacy and Business Administration offer a joint program that allow students the opportunity to develop management and administrative skills, through enrollment in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program, as they study for the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.

The University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy offers a joint program that allows students the opportunity to pursue the Master of Science (M.S.) degree while studying for the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.

Doctor of Pharmacy / B.A. in French

Students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program may earn a Bachelor of Arts in French (B.A.) or Certificate in French & Pharmacy, including two hospital rotations in Rennes, France (through our exchange agreement with the University of Rennes' School of Pharmacy).
