Dean's Excellence Award
The URI College of Pharmacy offers a fellowship program for exceptional graduate students who are seeking to pursue a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. This competitive Graduate Fellowship includes up to four years of full tuition and stipend. The review process for this fellowship has a rolling deadline of December 1, February 1 and April 1. The recipient must be an American citizen, who is enrolling at the University of Rhode Island for the first time. Download the Dean's Excellence Award flyer (PDF)

Teaching and Research Assistantships
Graduate Teaching Assistantships include a stipend and tuition waiver. The duties would include helping with lecture and laboratory preparations, recitations, proctoring and grading of exams. The assistantships are appointed through professor's recommendations.

Graduate Research Assistantships: In addition, a number of the faculty have available a wide variety of Research Assistantships which are awarded to their graduate students. The Research Assistantships may include tuition and stipend and the duties would include research work.
