John Rozembersky is President of Rozembersky Group Inc (RGI), an independent biofiltration consulting firm founded in 2005. The company is dedicated to providing total solutions for tangential flow filtration (TFF) and depth flow filtration (DFF) applications and processes to the biotech and biopharmaceutical downstream purification markets.

With over 35 years of hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge in membrane technologies, John is internationally recognized as a leading authority in TFF in the biopharmaceutical sector from small scale bench-top development to large scale manufacturing process for both flat sheet membrane cassette and hollow fiber membrane formats.

His extensive filtration application experience and membrane and membrane element knowledge was developed with the following companies:

  • President of Rozembersky Group Inc. (RGI),
  • VP of Membrane Technology at WaterSep Technologies,
  • VP of TFF Technical & Application Support at Pall Corporation,
  • Co-founder and Executive VP at Filtron Technology Corp.,
  • Director of Process Development & Engineering (HPLC) Technology at Waters,
  • Membrane Manufacturing and Process Development at Millipore Corporation.

By applying theory and a hands-on approach, John Rozembersky has becoming the “go-to” expert for flat sheet (cassette) and hollow fiber membranes and process systems. He has successfully defined, designed, optimized and solved technical problems for hundreds of upstream and downstream TFF applications that include: plasma and protein fractionation, vaccines, recombinant proteins purification, virus removal and cell harvesting/clarification applications. He has presented numerous lectures and seminars at conferences and at key biotechnology companies on the fundamentals and applied principles of DFF & TFF to real-life applications.
