The Public Safety Department at the URI Providence
Campus is a satellite department consisting of 10 Security
Officers and 1 Police Lieutenant. Police and Security services at
the Providence Campus are available 24 hours a day, 7 day a week.
We offer a shuttle service for students from the hours of 4:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday (only when classes are in session). The shuttle constantly drives between the Rhode Island Convention Center Parking Garage and the front door of URI on 80 Washington Street.
