Investigating Accident Collisions — Spring 2015

Investigating the Motorcycle Collision:

Physical evidence; the human factor; crash scene photography; and Traffic Templates Reconstruction Techniques.

Monday-Thursday March 23-26, 2015 8:00am-4:00pm

Reconstructing the Pedestrian Collision:

Driver Factors; Vehicle Factors; Demographic/Social/Policy Factors; Roadway/Environmental Factors; Pedestrian Factors; and, significant characteristics of pedestrian crashes.

Monday-Thursday April 20-23, 2015 8:00am-4:00pm

Participants need to bring the following materials if attending either workshop: "Blue Blitz" Traffic Accident Investigation Drawing Template Scientific Calculator, 360 Degree Protractor Notebook, 5 mm mechanical pencil, colored pencils (5 minimum) different colors.

Registration fee $169.00.Classes meet at the URI Feinstein Providence Campus in Room 317. The instructor for these workshops is Ptlm (retired) Donald Mong. The registration fee is due in full upon registration. We accept department purchase order payments. This class is self-funded. We do require a minimum number of registered students for the class to run.

No refund will be given for cancellations unless the position in class can be filled or another student can be substituted in your place and we receive the name of the substitute before the class begins.

This is a non-credit certificate program and financial aid is not available. Participants will receive a signed certificate upon successful completion of this class. Professional Development CEU’s will be awarded for each workshop. Free parking at the RI Convention Center Garage.
