Investigating the Motorcycle Collision — Spring 2014
Registration fee $169.00.Classes meet at the URI Feinstein Providence Campus. The registration fee is due in full upon registration. We accept department purchase order payments. This class is self-funded. There are only 20 seats available for this class and we do require a minimum number of registered students for the class to run.
No refund will be given for cancellations unless the position in class can be filled or another student can be substituted in your place and we receive the name of the substitute before the class begins.
This is a non-credit certificate program and financial aid is not available. Free parking at the RI Convention Center Garage.

Physical evidence: collection of data
The human factor: motorcycle rider conspicuity; reaction time/human factors; interpreting the operator factor. Mathematical principles and equations: speed estimates of vehicles at impact using computer math programs; time, distance, and motion equations; using a practical application of formulas. Crash scene photography Traffic Templates Reconstruction Techniques: measuring and scale diagramming; information analysis and case preparation; preparing the investigation for trial; authoring the motorcycle accident: reconstruction report driver and witness interviews:
Participants need to bring the following materials:
"Blue Blitz" Traffic Accident Investigation Drawing Template Scientific Calculator, 360 Degree Protractor Notebook, 5 mm mechanical pencil, colored pencils (5 minimum) different colors
Participants will receive a signed certificate upon successful completion of this class.
