Traffic Accident Reconstruction Computer Programs Workshop — $150
Workshop meets at the URI Feinstein Providence Campus
New Date TBA
This two day workshop will provide training on two popular computer (mathematical) programs. Traffic Accident Reconstruction for Windows AR Pro version 8 and "REC TEC." Today's complex transportation and motor vehicle issues have generated several computer programs that dramatically assist the Traffic Accident Investigator / Reconstructionist. These programs will be available for students to download and use on a trial basis during and after the class. The training is conducted by an independent instructor to provide an unbiased "Pro - Con" evaluation to better assist the student on their particular Traffic Accident Reconstruction needs. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptops.
Instructor: Ptlm (retired) Donald Mong
Participants will receive a signed certificate upon successful completion of the program. Course fee includes a parking pass for the RI Convention Center Parking Garage.
Students are required to bring to class:
- “Blue Bitz” traffic accident drawing template,
- Scientific calculator,
- 360-degree protractor,
- Notebook,
- 5mm mechanical pencil,
- Colored pencils (5 minimum),
- Laptop
Registration Deadline is March 7, 2013.
The fee of $150 (excluding student materials listed) is due in full upon registration. The program size is limited to 25 students. No refund will be given for cancellation unless the position in class can be filled or another student can be substituted in your place and we receive the name of the substitute before the class begins.
