State Building Codes Course
Provides the necessary basic code knowledge for building inspectors and contractors who will be working with the State Building Codes. Candidates for the course must have experience in the construction/inspection field to benefit from the course. State Building Code law requires attendance and successful completion of course requirements for local officials to be certified by the Building Codes Standards Committee. State Building Code Course is offered in Providence. Classes meet weekly for ten 21/2 hour sessions including final exam.
