New Veterans Office Opens On URI's Providence Campus
The URI Feinstein Providence Campus is currently serving Veterans and current service members wanting to attend the University of Rhode Island. As a veteran, you may be unaware of the GI Bill changes and other entitled benefits from Veteran Affairs to accommodate your passion to return to higher education. The University of Rhode Island – Providence is prepared to assist you with the following:

- Credit Evaluation
- Academic Advising
Potential student veterans will complete the following with the URI Student Veteran Offices to receive benefits:
- Complete online (VA Form 1990) VONAPP.
- Submit Letter or Notice of Eligibility to SVO (NOBE or LOE).
- Complete URI Veteran Information Sheet
- Submit copy of Veterans DD 2-14.
- Meet with SVO to elect benefit: complete verification.
