This is a list of steps you can use at the start of each term. Some of the steps you would carry out just your first term, other steps would be carried out each term.
Checklist for First Semester at Feinstein Providence Campus
e-Campus
Familiarize yourself with the e-Campus system [more]. This is the system that you will use throughout your time at URI to register for courses, check your bill and financial aid status see your grades and transcripts, and make any changes to your address and phone numbers.
Email
account (Webmail)
Students are given a free email account. This is the official email address the university uses to contact you. If you wish the university to use another email address, you will need to make this change in e-Campus. From your home e-campus page, click on “self service” in the left hand column, then “Personal Information”, then “email addresses.” Add your preferred email address and check the “preferred” box. The university will then use this address to send you information.

ID
Card
If you need an ID card, go to Room 125 for your picture ID. Bring a copy of your class schedule. Then go to the Library to have it validated for the semester. If you are taking classes in Kingston, you can get your ID card on the Providence Campus, or in the Memorial Union in Kingston. Call 401-874-2055 for information on obtaining an ID card on the Kingston Campus.

Checklist for Every Semester at Feinstein Providence Campus
Courses
Check your registration on e-Campus to see that you are in the correct courses. Drop and add courses as necessary to make up your semester schedule.
Location
of course (classroom)
On the night of your first class, check the sheets in the lobby of the Shepard Building. The room assignments will be posted here for the first 2 weeks.
If you are taking a course in Kingston, the room assignment is on the e-Campus listing for that course. Check this listing just before the start of your class to make sure there has been no change to the room.
ID
Card

Parking
Pass
Students may park for free in the Convention Center lots (North or South garages). Click here for more information about parking... [more].
Print
Card
Any student or faculty member wishing to print papers from either the computer lab or the library on the ASF/CCE Providence Campus can use their URI Ram Account. If the person does not have a Ram Account, a temporary print account can be purchased (using cash) from a vending kiosk located in the computer lab in room 301.
Textbooks
Go to the bookstore located in room 211. The normal hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm; Friday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Bookstore information... [more]
