Final Exams, Grading and Snow

Re: Final Exams, Grading and Snow
The end of the semester has arrived and the final exam period is about to begin. Please review the following important dates and policies related to the end of term.
I: Final Exam Period:
The Kingston final period is December 14-16, 19-22. The Providence final exam period is December 14-17, 19-20.
II: Grading:
Grade rosters for the Fall 2011 semester will be available December 12 in eCampus and are due by Wednesday, December 28 by 12 Noon. Please use the grade roster icon that is located next to each course under your eCampus faculty center.
If you have any grading questions or need assistance, please call Kathy Craig 874-4479, Ken Sisson 874-4480 or Jack Humphrey 874- 4479 in Enrollment Services.
A helpful guide to posting grades is available on the bottom center of the eCampus page,
www.uri.edu/ecampus/, and is also attached to this memo.
Helpful Hint – did you know you are able to customize eCampus so it shows various terms/preferences when you log-in? To do so, follow these simple steps:
1. Log on to eCampus
2. Click on self-service (menu to the left)
3. Click on Campus Personal Information and then on User Preferences
4. If you would like to change the term, click the look-up icon, or use 2119 for Fall 2011 or 2121 for Spring 2012.
5. Hit Save, log-out, and then log back in to eCampus.
III: Storm / Snow Delays:
'Tis the season for inclement weather. Our snow policy and utilization of the Final Exam Make-up day goes into effect ONLY if the University OFFICIALLY delays OR cancels exams. Please check your own University voicemail, Emergency Alert Notification or call 874-SNOW (4-7669) for the official delay or cancellation announcement.
Kingston Campus: Friday, December 23rd is the designated make-up day in the event that there is a delay which requires cancellation of one of two exam slots or cancellation of all final exams on a given day.
Providence Campus: Friday, December 23rd is the designated make-up day for the Providence Campus.
