Vice Provost for Academic Affairs
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the University of Rhode Island. As the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, my primary responsibility consists of supporting the President and Provost in the management of all academic programs and services. These include academic enrollment, general education, the Instructional Development Program, the Honors Program, summer sessions, academic regulations and policies, and outcomes assessment. In addition, I serve as a liaison to the Faculty Senate and the other state postsecondary institutions. Perhaps most importantly, I assist faculty, administrators and students in addressing issues related to academic affairs. My on-going mission is to facilitate and maintain an environment where each member of the University community is challenged to excel intellectually, personally and professionally.
