Planning Services
Our Mission
The Office of Planning Services provides consultation and support to achieve the integration of University wide planning with regard to fiscal, facility, academic and fund-raising. The Office provides assistance to the Vice Presidents of the five divisions within the University as well as departments, and key planning committees of the University.
Specifically, Planning Services provides:
- Consultation and facilitation for strategic planning at all levels of the institution.
- Support to the Joint Strategic Planning Committee and other planning committees.
- Consultation to the Offices of Capital Projects and Budget with regard to University planning initiatives.
- Effective campus-wide information sharing regarding University strategic initiatives.
- Emphasis on environmental scanning and related research, data, and trend analysis to support data driven decision making and planning.
Planning Services can assist departments in the following ways:
- Access to information about Unviersity planning initiatives including the University's strategic plan and departmental planning efforts. Our website provides links to this information.
- Facilitation and/or consultation of planning to assist you in the process of developing or rethinking your unit's vision, values, mission, goals and/or objectives.
- Links to the data and information you need to help you plan more effectively.
