Ann Morrissey is Assistant to the President and Director of Planning Services and Professional Development at URI. She has worked in the field of leadership development and higher education since 1981 and holds a Master's degree in Higher Education. Ann has presented at regional and national conferences and is widely known for her work in strategic planning, meeting facilitation, team-building and leadership development. She is an engaging presenter, an outdoor adventure learning specialist, and is certified in Franklin-Covey leadership programs and Excecutive Coaching.
Abu R. Bakr is Assistant to the President and Director of Planning Services and Professional Development at URI. His background includes a Master's Degree in Human Development and an MBA. He is a widely-respected presenter and consultant in the areas of diversity, strategic planning, team-building and nonviolence. Abu has worked in higher education and consulted for human service organizations for over 20 years. He is a certified trainer in Kingian Nonviolence and for Franklin-Covey programs.
Eileen Oraboneis the Executive Assistant in the Office of Planning Services and Professional Development at URI. Eileen has worked at the University of Rhode Island for 24 years in many areas, including the Registrar's Office, Development Office, Nursing, President's Office and for the last six years in PSPD, formerly known as SPIR. She is responsible for scheduling meetings for the Directors, for internal operations and is the staff support person on many committees for PSPD.
