Space Enhancement, Design, and Allocation Committee
This committee considers the space needs of the community, new projects, and the future priorities of the University and makes decisions about space allocation and design of space to meet program needs. Decisions are made in alignment with the Campus Master Plan and in communication with the Master Plan Review Team and the University's academic priorities and strategic initiatives and in communication with the Joint Strategic Planning Committee. Space allocation plans are approved by the Vice President for Administration before they are implemented. The committee meets monthly. The committee is chaired by the Director of Capital Planning and Design and members include: the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, the Director of Planning Services, the Higher Education Space Planner, a faculty member from the JSPC, an additional faculty member appointed by the Faculty Senate, the Assistant Vice President for Business Services, the Director of Facilities Services, the Director of Capital Projects, and the Assistant Director of Enrollment Services.
