College Inserts

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

Below are brochures for URI colleges inserted in the Fall 2009 issue of Quad Angles. They are four panels each in a finished size of 5″ x 10-7/8″, printed on glossy stock similar to the pages of the magazine. They were inserted between the covers and the first and last pages. The mailing list was segmented so that graduates of each college will receive the brochure for that college.

International Recruitment Brochure

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Inter. Recrut Brochure.jpg

Inter. Recrut Brochure2.jpgThis international recruiting brochure required a great deal of input from Admission Advisor Nancy Stricklin regarding what images were likely to attract, and not repel, an international audience. For instance, we emphasized students involved in science; we de-emphasized (actually photo-shopped OUT) bare female flesh; and we provided a map showing exactly where RI is in the US.
Regarding the URLs (back page especially), please note that URLs for the College of Business Administration (cba.uri.edu) and for the College of Engineering (egr.uri.edu) do not work from all browsers *unless* the “www” is included. Our basic editorial policy: Always omit the “www” UNLESS the URL doesn’t work without it.
