Rhody Postcards: Marissa Norman ’12

ColoradoSpringsStampGreetings from Colorado Springs! This summer, I was selected to participate in the U.S. Olympic Committee’s F.L.A.M.E. (Finding Leaders Among Minorities Everywhere) program. In Colorado Springs, I got to stay at the Olympic Training Center for four days, living the way an Olympic athlete would. I met many Olympic athletes and heard their amazing stories of struggles and victories.

Marissa is a sophomore and a member of the URI track and field team. She is a psychology major and aspires to a career as a sports psychologist.
