Thanks for your positive feedback, Josh. This photo was actually taken with a Nikon D5000, so I would imagine you could get a similar result with your 5100. In fact, your results may be even better since the resolution of the D5100 is higher at 16 megapixels vs. the D5000′s 12. I would recommend shooting in RAW format on the manual setting and don’t forget to bracket.
