Rowing Narrow River
You won’t find Vida-Wynne Griffin ’67, M.A. ’72 on the tennis courts or in the yoga studio. But if you wander down to Narrow River early some morning in any season but winter, you just might find her rowing happily up and down Narrow River. Vida, who has been the editor of Quad Angles since 1995, has been rowing for over 20 years. She loves the early morning solitude of her workouts, and, she says, it’s great exercise. “Honestly,” says Vida, “I lose the little old lady flaps on my arms. They come back in November, but they disappear in June!”
