Throughout URI Orientation sessions (Thursday, June 7 - Friday, June 29,
RAM Computers will be taking calls weekdays 9am-5pm.
On-Campus Packages
On-Campus Package purchases will be waiting for you in your dorm room, secured to the desk with a Targus
security combination lock and cable. On-Campus packages also have the additional service of evening on-site appointments between
5PM-10PM Sunday-Thursday. During September move-in, RAM Computers will be dispatching techs during store hours as well.

Rhody Ready On-Campus package, please take the time to
read it now.
Early Orders
We are currently stocking Apple and Dell machines (please call for quantities). Orders in the continental US can be shipped home early
at no additional charge, just ask your sales rep. If your order
is shipped home early, you're computer won't be waiting for your in your dorm room ready to go :(. We also require that the entire order,
printer, accessories and all be shipped home. Dependant on our inventory, On-Campus orders placed after July 22nd may require dorm deliver
and setup.
Pick-ups / Off-Campus Packages (more discounts!)
Commuting to URI? Ask a sales representative about our Off-Campus packages. We know if you're nearby, there are
services and items in our On-Campus package you won't benefit from or already have at home.
Off-Campus packages include the same software and security configuration so you shouldn't have any trouble getting on the campus wireless
when you bring your computer to school. Your Off-Campus package can be picked up at the store after September 1st. Early pick-ups can be
arranged, please ask your sales rep. for details.
Acceptable Payments / Cash Discounts
Our Cash Price is a discounted price we extend to our customers who purchase a PC system using cash,
check or money order. The base price listed is for On-Campus packages including the cash discount.
We also accept credit cards!
*Apple Notice: Due to Apple's fixed pricing we are not able to offer a Cash Discount on the Rhody Ready Apple packages.
Order fulfillment
If your system is being shipped home early or picked up, a sales rep will take payment immediately.
Whether you want it early or setup in your dorm, RAM Computers encourages customers to place their orders ASAP so we have accurate
quantities available for setup in September. You have the option to pay later if you're having it setup in your dorm September. Please
be advised: Our bulk orders are placed July 22nd. As the systems arrive from the manufacturer, they are reserved in order that they are
paid for!
(So don't wait until the last minute to pay for your order)
If you place your order and are paid up before July 22nd, we can guarantee your computer package will be setup in your dorm
for the first day of school.

College of Business...we hope you'll be using Microsoft Access and Internet Explorer on a
Windows machine
Landscape Architecture...recommends a PC with a high-end graphics card. (512MB or higher)

Pharmacy students, the
Dell
Better is a lightweight business notebook selected by the Pharmacy program.
Apple Accommodations...If you want a Mac but your Major requires use of Windows applications,
we do offer a multi-platform setups (Apples with Windows and Office for PC installed) as an additional option.
